At my core, I believe in the power of movement and human connection. As a passionate physical therapist and wellness coach, I focus on balance and fall prevention. Through my podcast, Stories for Supper, I celebrate the wisdom of aging loved ones while sharing valuable tips for staying safe and independent.
Why I started My podcast, Stories for Supper
Taking care of my grandmothers before they passed taught me just how much I still don’t know about them—the nuances of their lives and who they really were before they were even parents or grandparents. I wish I had asked more questions, dug deeper into their experiences, and captured their stories in their own voices—something to truly hold onto that captured the essence of who they were.
That’s part of why I started my podcast—to ask those questions, preserve those moments, and celebrate the incredible lives of aging loved ones before it’s too late. Every story shared is a reminder of the strength, resilience, and humor found in life’s journey. Together, we can embrace aging with joy, ensuring that our loved ones remain active, strong, and safe in their daily lives.
A little About Me:
Dog Mom, Nature Lover, Life Long Learner
When I’m not getting lost among the thousands of ideas swimming in my head, you’ll often find me exploring the beauty of Bozeman, Montana with my two pups, Hopsin and Finley. Hopsin is my soul dog who’s been by my side since I was 19—I couldn’t wait to adopt a dog the second I left the dorms.
I’m definitely a morning person, but I can’t start my day without reading a good book (usually historical fiction or something about wellness) while sipping on black coffee, followed by some much-needed meditation. While I love staying active—whether it’s hitting the gym, paddle boarding down a river, skiing in the mountains, or playing a terrible game of ping pong—I also really love being cozy and soaking up the serenity of home and family. Lately, I’ve been reconnecting with my creative side through art, which has been feeding my soul in unexpected ways. At the end of the day, you’ll find me joking around with my family on FaceTime because, really, it’s those moments of connection that matter most.
I’m also a perpetual learner. I spent eight incredible years at the University of Montana, where I earned my minor in Business Administration, B.S. in Health and Human Performance with an emphasis in Exercise Science, Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT), and Masters of Business Administration (MBA). While my formal education might be complete, I still can’t get enough—almost every podcast and YouTube video I consume is about improving myself, my business, or others’ lives. I guess that’s why I’m so passionate about helping others create meaningful connections and live healthier, safer lives. Nerdy…I know.
